Employee
Assisted Programmes (EAPs)
EAPs are an organisations response to their legal
requirements to
evidence ‘a duty of care’ to their employees. When staff are struggling
with emotional issues or stress it can, if not addressed, develop into
more long-term problems, and of course, sick leave.
Counselling can help an individual feel listened to, cared for and
ultimately enable them to work through their issues. This will
naturally be of benefit to both employee and employer, enabling
individuals to return to work.
A maximum of six counselling sessions are usually covered by the
employer at a cost of £50 per session.
First appointments can usually be offered within a week of referral and
can be weekday, evenings or weekends.
The Counselling Partnership is conveniently located just off the M60
ring road in both North and South Manchester with easy access from Manchester city centre,
the North West Region, South Manchester and Cheshire.
